WARNING - BEWARE OF UNOFFICIAL "VCA" PASSES, DIPLOMAS AND CERTIFICATES

SCC-certified companies, clients using the SCC system and certification bodies conducting audits are increasingly confronted with badges and other documents or systems that give the impression of legitimate SCC diplomas.

These include both documents where only training was taken or suggested to have taken place and papers and passes purporting to be SCC certificates.

Only an entry in the Central Diploma Register https://cdr.ssvv.nl/ or https://csm-examen.be/cdr assures that a person has actually obtained his or her SCC diploma. So always consult this register!
This violence both for Basic Safety SCC (B-VCA), for Safety for Operational Managers (VOL-VCA), for Safety for Intercedents and Managers VCU (VIL-VCU) and for Risky Tasks.

The data in the register come from recognised examination centres. Indeed, only the examination centres recognised by the SCC management organisations CSM (BE) and SSVV (NL) are entitled to take SCC exams and issue SCC diplomas if the candidate passes the exam.

Germany
The accepted German diplomas from the SCC (SCC) system are:

• Dok. 017: Prüfung der Führungskräfte (safety operational managers) through a U-SK SCC recognised examination organisation, valid in Germany and abroad.
• Doc. 018: For deployment of operational staff (basic safety) through a U-SK SCC recognised examination organisation, valid in Germany and abroad.

In Germany, you can contact DAkks, the German Accreditation Council, for this purpose. You can also contact VAZ (Verband akkreditierter Zertifizierungsgesellschaften e.V.), the SCC scheme owner in Germany.

List of suspect organisations

The following link provides a list/overview of organisations that issue documents or passes under their own name that could lead to confusion. Some of these organisations have themselves set up their own 'diploma register', further giving the impression that they would be legitimate SCC diplomas. Which is therefore definitely not the case!

Be extra vigilant!
We ask our SCC-certified companies to be extra vigilant and not accept these training passes or other documents as valid SCC certificates (or equivalent).

We ask holders of such a training pass or non-verifiable diploma to still take an examination at an examination centre recognised by us.

This will prevent you from being rejected at an employer's gate. We also ask you to notify us if you find any other similar documents and/or passes.
