On 31 March, the new VCA 2026\/6.1 (and VCA-MAX 2026\/6.1) was published. The validation round had already been completed some time ago, but the file has now finally been picked up again. VCA 2026\/6.1 contains clarifications and targeted improvements that align with daily practice and current developments in the field of safety, health, and environment. Emphasis was also placed on the coherence between the different standards during its development. Contractor Safety Management, the SCC management organisation for Belgium, has signed a licence agreement with the Stichting Samenwerken Voor Veiligheid for VCA-MAX in Belgium. CSM certification bodies can now offer VCA-MAX to the Belgian market. To complement the existing SCC, a new \u201cVCA-MAX\u201d has now been launched. This is a combination of the \u2018existing\u2019 SCC scheme with the new behaviour module (SCC-MG) incorporated into it.
